“The Help” Big Winner At 2012 SAG Awards {PHOTOS}

The cast of the Civil Rights-era drama “The Help” is taking top honors at the 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards. The film won three awards at the star-studded ceremony on Sunday night, including Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture, Outstanding Lead Actress for Viola Davis who thanked her idol and “Help” co-star in her acceptance speech.
 Davis also thanked Meryl Streep with whom she co-starred in the movie “Doubt” and was nominated alongside other actresses at Sunday night’s SAG Awards. Davis’ “Help” co-star Octavia Spencer also continued her winning streak in the Supporting Actress role, dedicating her award to the “underserved” and “over taxed.” Other winners included French actor Jean Dujardin for his role in the black-and-white, silent film “The Artist,” veteran actor Christopher Plummer for “Beginners,” Alec Baldwin for “30 Rock” and Betty White for “Hot In Cleveland.”
