A bodyguard for celebrity couple Beyonce and Jay-Z had an unpleasant encounter with a Croatian cameraman in Dubrovnik this week. The couple’s security member was charged with destroying personal property and assault after exchanging blows with a paparazzo Tuesday night. Beyonce and Jay were reportedly attempting to board a boat when the bodyguard knocked the man’s camera to the ground. The 57-year-old photog then hit the man in the back with his tripod, prompting the surly security enforcer to toss it in the water. Images released on local television station RTL also show the bodyguard kicking the cameraman in the back several times. Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident.

Jay-Z isn’t about to let his upcoming album, “The Blueprint Three,” leak to listeners early. In fact, the emcee is so protective of his work that he will be hand-delivering the album to the head of Atlantic Records in London. An insider tells London’s “The Daily Star,” quote, “Jay is looking forward to showing off the fruits of his studio time and decided the best thing to do was take the album himself to London.” The source adds, quote, “Jay is very protective and smart and doesn’t want fans to hear tracks which aren’t quite right. He wants to give the record to the label in the UK and see which songs go down best to give him ideas about single releases.”

In 2006, Jay-Z’s release “Kingdom Come” was leaked on the social networking site MySpace. In response to the leak, Universal Music Group slapped MySpace with a copyright-infringement lawsuit. Jay-Z’s “The Blueprint Three” arrives in stores on September 11th.
