Janet Jackson In Talks To Join “X Factor”

Janet Jackson is the latest celebrity rumored to be in talks to fill one of the vacant seats on Simon Cowell’s “The X Factor.” She’s not exactly denying it either. The pop superstar plays coy when asked by Anderson Cooper in an interview scheduled to air on Cooper’s daytime talk show “Anderson” today. Janet laughs a little before saying she’s not a judge on “The X Factor.” But when Cooper prompts her again to clarify that she’s “not currently” a judge on the show Janet adds, “No, I am not, but that’s all I really think I should say.” READ MORE

Star Jones Returning To “The View”

 It appears as if Star Jones and Barbara Walters have gotten over their differences. Jones is set to return to ABC’s hit, daytime talk show “The View” for the first time in six years.

 

According to “The Hollywood Reporter,” she will stop by the February 22nd episode to promote the American Heart Association’s “Go Red for Women” campaign, which raises awareness of heart disease in women.

 

Jones’ high-profile exit from “The View” captured headlines in 2006. After the network declined to renew her contract, Jones abruptly announced that she was leaving the show.

 

Walters refused to let Jones back on the air to finish out her contract on “The View.”

 

The relationship between the two has been tense ever since.
