Tameka “Tiny” Cottle Planning “Fairy-Tale” Wedding With T.I.

Tip has a big date to look forward to when he gets out of prison next year. In a recent interview with “XXL” magazine, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, says she’s planning to marry Tip when he is released. She states, quote, “Sometime [next] year, but we can’t really give a date yet because we have to find out exactly when Tip is coming home.” Tiny adds, quote, “We’ll have to just plan around that, but I envision a fairy-tale wedding.” The former Xscape singer also says that she could be teaming up with her longtime flame to produce new music. Tiny previously spent some time in the studio with T.I., and says the couple could eventually find themselves on a track together. She adds, quote, “We have several things that we’re talking about doing together, so we’ll see how that works out.”

Tip was sentenced to one year and a day in prison last March on federal gun charges. Tip began serving his sentence on May 26th in an Arkansas federal prison. Lil Wayne was arrested on weapons charges in 2007 in New York City. “Weezy” pled guilty to the charges last month and received one year behind bars as part of his plea. Wayne will be officially sentenced in February. Story from AP…

The Core Djs Take Over Club Crucial

This past weekend the Dj society “Core Dj’s” retreated to Atlanta for their annual celebration. They had events all weekend long but the big finale came courtesy of T.I. And the grand hustle family at Club Crucial!

T.I. Opened the doors of his club for the dj’s and treated them like Royalty by serving drinks and free food all night, enlisted a couple of busted females to do some “dances” and performances by the entire grand hustle family. In other words e’body and they mama was “Up thru there”! Check out the pics…

T.I.’s Bodyguard Serving Jail Time For Gun Purchases

The man who helped T.I. purchase his illegal weapons is behind bars he is not in the picture above. According to TheSmokingGun.com, the rapper’s bodyguard received a 366-day sentence for his role in the crime. Corey Williams was arrested in October 2007, and ended up helping federal investigators capture T.I. by wearing a wire. Williams’ criminal record was reportedly clean up to that point. However, he received the same sentence as T.I. The rapper served one-thousand hours of community service and took part in an MTV reality show that featured him helping at-risk teens before his sentence was handed down. Corey Williams has already started serving his sentence. T.I. is not expected to go behind bars until after May 19th. With good behavior, T.I. could serve less than ten months in prison.

My girl Monica came out to show all her good friends love, she talked to me about finishing up her album and another big project and I will tell you about that soon..Monica will be filling in for Ryan Cameron on his afternoon show on V-103 while he’s on vacation. My prayers go out to Ryan who lost his best friend “DJ” last week…R.I.P DJ

Shawty Lo, brought out Fonsworth Bentley (ummmm yeah) and Slim of 112 and from the looks of his entourage’s shirts the name of Lo’s new album is definitely “I Am Carlos”.

Ludacris who brought out his whole DTP family including Shawnna (who I have a new found respect for, cuz she ripped it!) as well as the newest DTP recruit Lil Scrappy!

Rick Ross shut it down M.I.A YO style and Jeezy who’s surprise guest was none other then the KING himself T.I. who left the crowd a lil confused of whether he left jail came, performed and was headed back or if he is still about to go….hmmmm

Jeezy also brought out Luda and Scrappy and shut it down Trapstar style….yeahhhhhhhhhhhh

Now back to Plies, who was supposed to perform last night as well but was a no show…well while I was making my way thru backstage I heard a whisper that Plies didn’t perform because of something but I will let you know as soon as I get all the details later tonight and I have to say its crazy…

I just found out that my boy got a year and a day but he wont have to go to jail until May. I will give yall all the detail plus more pics as soon as I find out.. These pics are from last night where he attended the Keri Hilson Album release party. This is my first time seeing him on a bike which was a Harley Davidson.. The King Foundation, Y.E.S, Music Education Group, and Its Cool to be Smart, all joined forces to present a teen violence panel featuring Killer Mike, Bone Crusher, and T. I. Hosted by V103’s very own Greg Street, the panel discussion showed a different side of TIP. He gave a powerful speech that took me by surprise. I never really thought of the multi-platinum rapper as a preacher, but his words were so moving it was as if Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. had come down and taken over! T.I. Community Service Appearance In New York Cancelled

People are always trying to bring a good man down. We all make mistakes in our lives but the point is to forgive, and let go things that dont effect our lives. T.I.’s quest to complete one-thousand hours of community service by the end of the month has hit a small road block. I over heard one of my friends talked about how a scheduled appearance at a Brooklyn school was cancelled on Monday. T.I. was slated to give a motivational speech for the kids at Middle School for the Arts 587, but the Department of Education pulled the plug on the event over the fact that T.I.’s taping of the appearance for his MTV reality show “T.I.’s Road to Redemption” made the event too commercial. T.I. is slated to be sentenced on federal gun charges later this month. The sentence stems from an October 2007 arrest in Atlanta, where the rapper attempted to purchase machine guns and silencers from an undercover agent. As part of a plea deal he reached last year, T.I. will get one year behind bars if he completes one-thousand hours of community service. Tip hold yo head up you will get those hours…
