I had the opportunity to sit in on an interview with the good people over at TV One and the cast of the highly anticipated film “The Secret She Kept” a novel by Reshonda Tate Billingsley. I had the opportunity to watch the film and it’s truly amazing. The movie addresses issues of mental illness and how it impacts the whole family.

First off let me say this has to be one of the most touching films I have seen all year and is a TV movie that I know Wendy Williams would love…  Some of ATL’s A Listers came out to support Roger Bobb’s private screening the debut of the GMC film “Raising Izzie” Winner of the 2012 GMC’s Faith & Family screenplay competition during the American Black Film Festival. Written by David Conley, and Produced and directed by Atlanta’s own Roger Bobb CEO of Bobbcat Films.

“Raising Izzie”, is a heart touching film about two young girls who become orphaned, who’s lives have changed tremendously, until they meet a radiant couple Greg (played by Rockmond Dunbar ) & Tonya (Vanessa Williams- Soul Food series)  who makes a significant impact on their lives.

Victoria Staley a new actress introduced as the head strong teenager, and Kyla Kenedy as Izzie, (Who Definitely stole the show with her quick wit and faithful belief that GOD is real. This helped her to endure the trial and tribulations she and her sister faced.

“Raising Izzie”, also features many cameos including Atlanta’s on V103’s radio
personality Wanda Smith.

Well it seems that RainForest Films has done it again. With a HIT Film , “Think Like A Man” . Based on the Steve Harvey novel Think Like A Man Act Like A Women , this film is definitely not your typical dating movie. The film was full of special Cameo appearances, which I cannot divulge. But, I encourage you to see this film. The acting and story line was phenomenal!! And NOT what you’d expect. It kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. Actor, Kevin Hart definitely steals the show with his humor and edgy self expressions. Eurweb is reporting Vanessa Williams said Tuesday she’ll play a “wicked new housewife” on the upcoming seventh season of ABC’s “Desperate Housewives”.

The actress also played a wicked fashion magazine exec on ABC’s recently-cancelled “Ugly Betty.” She’s currently performing in the Broadway musical “Sondheim on Sondheim,” which runs through June.

Williams will star in “Desperate Housewives” opposite Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman, Marcia Cross and Eva Longoria Parker.
