Chance The Rapper might be changing the music industry single-handedly, as the Chicago do-gooder continues to cross uncharted territory as an independent artist. Notoriously known for giving his music away for free, Chance is definitely in a category of his own in comparison to most mainstream rappers. His third long awaited mixtape “Coloring Book” is the first streaming-only album to reach the Billboard 200 albums chart. This year brings about many firsts for the Chicago rapper, back in December he was also the first unsigned artist to perform on SNL.

Among his many accomplishments this year, he is solely credited for delaying Kanye’sThe Life of Pablo” back in February because of his passion for his music. The final album track list left off “Waves”, a song Chance is credited for writing ft, Chris Brown & Kid Cudi. Chance fought for the song to be put on the album and in the last hours before the release, he and Kanye put the finishing touches on the song and included it on Ye’s highly anticipated album.

It’s safe to say Rihanna is completely unapologetic about her support for NBA superstar Lebron James. In her recent post on IG she tagged the married father of three in a picture of her in a swimsuit with the number “23” visibly on her stomach. The image follows a host of hints of a “friendship” between the too dating back to last summer when King James chartered a private jet so the Roc Nation Singer could attend the first game of the NBA Finals.

If your a 90’s Hip hop and R&B fan, its safe to say your dreams have come true as Diddy and “The Family” kick off “The Bad Boy Family Reunion Tour“. The tour comes shortly after the epic reunion last summer at the 2015 BET awards where former Bad Boy artists like; Faith Evans, Lil Kim, Mase, Jadakiss, Pharrell, French Montana and more came together for a surprise reunion. Fans took to twitter begging for a Bad Boy Reunion and now they’ve got it!

Steph Curry, arguably the most beloved player in the NBA recently made history as the only player in the league to ever receive a unanimous vote for “MVP“. Although many are happy and supportive of Curry’s huge success and lifestyle on and off the court, former NBA all-star and ESPN analyst Tracy McGrady said recently that that the unanimous vote proves that the NBA is watered down.

Rapper 50 Cent caught fire recently after posting a video on social media mocking an autistic teenager accusing him of being high. The video soon went viral and reached the family of the teen.
