Songstress Teairra Mari was arrested last night for drunk driving out in Beverly Hills. We told you a few days ago that she’s left Warner Brother Records and is now signed to Rico Love’s Division 1 label. Seems like a great cause for a celebration right? Maybe she partied a little too hard being that she’s still in custody. Then again she’s only 5 ft tall so it may not have taken her that many drinks to get drink. Sources say that a press release and bail information will be available soon. Drinking and driving is not okay in any way, shape, or form. It’s great to party but please be safe out here. SMH when is people going to learn to stop drinking and driving, drink at home or catch a cab or bring a person with you that don’t drink, why put some other person in harms way because of your stupidity.

Teairra didn’t play nice while she was being booked and became “combative” with one of the arresting officers. Sources tell us one cop suffered a “minor cut” to his hand during the incident.
As a result, Mari now faces multiple charges — including DUI and assault on a police officer.
According to law enforcement, Mari is still in custody and bail has been set at $50k.
