The drama on the second season of Tyler Perry’s “The Haves and the Have Nots” is setting a high mark for the Oprah Winfrey Network. The highly anticipated evening soap opera has everyone on edge. Tuesday’s season premiere brought in three-point-two million viewers, which sets a record for a premiere on the network. The drama series also made waves on social media. Nielsen’s Twitter TV ratings ranked the premiere at number two. The show earned over 60-thousand tweets from more than 14-million unique Twitter users.
Even though the show set the benchmark for a premiere on the network, it still wasn’t the show’s most-watched episode. That distinction goes to last season’s finale, which brought in three-point-six million viewers.
