Sunday maked the 20th anniversary of Boomerang. The homie Courtneyluv reports in the movie Eddie Murphy played a fly New York marketing executive who had his way women. He was a suave go-getter. I could remember sneaking to watch it on VHS while my mommy was at work because she would not let me watch it. This movie, was Eddie Murphy’s first turn as a romantic lead and to the box office it was a success raking in $131 million.  No matter where you may go people will remember the one liners: “You have to co-ordinate!” or “Love shoulda brought your a** home last night.”

In other news Eddie Murphy put all sorts of speculation to rest Saturday night when he and girlfriend Rocsi Diaz finally came out as a couple at a pre-BET Awards celebration.

The couple was seen loving on each other as they attended a pre-BET Awards bash at Union Station in Los Angeles.

The 51-year-old actor and Rocsi looked comfortable being photographed together(I was told Rocsi hated taking photos). The two ever wear coordinated outfits on the red carpet at CEO Debra Lee’s gathering.

Murphy donned a pair of deep blue dress shoes to match Diaz’s navy key-hole cocktail dress, and kept an arm warmly wrapped around her waist throughout the evening.

Diaz, 28, joined Murphy on a family vacation in Maui, Hawaii as recently as June 12, but neither have previously confirmed nor denied their relationship.
