(9/14/2010) A new film about hip-hop legend Tupac Shakur will be arriving early next year. “Tupac: Uncensored and Uncut – The Lost Prison Tapes” will feature an unedited, never-before-seen interview with the rapper from the Clinton Correctional Facility — where he served time in 1995 for sexual abuse charges. Tupac takes on several topics during the discussion, including his involvement in gang life, his relationship with his mother, and the 1994 shooting that nearly claimed his life. “Tupac: Uncensored and Uncut – The Lost Prison Tapes” will make its debut on January 26th.
Monday marked the 14th anniversary of Tupac Shakur’s death. The emcee was shot on September 7th, 1996 while riding in a car in Las Vegas with former Death Row Records CEO Suge Knight. Tupac eventually died from injuries sustained from the shooting on September 13th, 1996.
