VH1 is looking to score with the estranged wife of an NBA superstar. Sources tell TMZ that the producers behind the hit reality series “Basketball Wives” are in hot pursuit of Kobe Bryant’s soon-to-be ex, Vanessa Bryant. The show is said to be putting together “an extremely lucrative pitch for Vanessa,” and wants to make her the lead on the Los Angeles edition of the series. Insiders add that “Basketball Wives'” producers never thought about approaching Vanessa while she was still together with Kobe, and she reportedly wouldn’t have been receptive of the idea. However, “Basketball Wives” has since become one of VH1’s biggest shows, and the producers now have a lot more money to spend on the series.
Vanessa and Kobe Bryant tied the knot in 2001. They had two children together before Vanessa filed for divorce last month citing irreconcilable differences. According to recent reports, Vanessa stands to receive at least 75-million-dollars in her divorce settlement with Kobe.
I don’t think Vanessa will do the show. I have heard that she is not close to many Lakers wives. And she seems to be more private. And who in the right mind would want to be around the lying Jackie Christie. Unless they are kicking Jackie out. I’m just sayin.

I don’t know if it is just me but I did not feel Jackie Christie was a lair. I felt she was the most honest of all the ladies on the show because they all lied and said they were not talking about each other, when they were. Laura talked about Draya like a dog and so did the other girls. Glory is fake to, she acted bad on the LA show but did not talk that trash to the Miami women. Nobody wanted to own up to the truth. I do not like Kobe wife should do the show because the show is filled with drama and girls or so called women talking about each other etc.. It is not worth the stress.
