VIDEO : DMX Calls Iyanla Vanzant “Toxic” and Suing Oprah

Iyanla-DMXDMX has some strong words for television personality Iyanla [[ee-yahn-lah]] Vanzant. The embattled rapper is reportedly upset over how Iyanla portrayed him on a recent episode of her show “Iyanla: Fix My Life,” which airs on the Oprah Winfrey Network. DMX is reportedly saying that Iyanla deliberately portrayed him in a negative light so she could pad her ratings. The rapper claims he was set to appear on her show to discuss his addiction to sex. However, when the cameras started rolling, DMX says Iyanla confronted him about his drug problem instead. He supposedly never approved the questions about drugs. DMX also tells the celebrity gossip website that Iyanla is “toxic.” The rapper says he’s already spoken to his lawyers about possibly taking legal action against Vanzant. DMX is now even reportedly trying to sue the OWN TV network and Oprah and demands that all the video and youtube clips be taken off the net. WOW good luck with that one!!!

DMX has had numerous run-ins with the law, including arrests for drug possession and aggravated assault. Earlier this year, the rapper was picked up in South Carolina for driving without a driver’s license. Here’s the video that started all the drama…

I have a lot to say on this topic. First, do you think if that was Oprah conducting that DMX interview and things fell apart such as we witnessed on that episode would it have aired? I think not. Why aren’t “Reality” programs required to have a disclaimer warning us of the profanity and violence? In one breath we say it takes a village to raise our kids then when we try to hold the entertainers accountable for what they say/show the masses they want to say “I’m not a role model” “the parent should be raising their own kid”. Everyone knows this is the toughest HOOD in the world PARENTHOOD! I am doing my part at home to ensure my daughters act with self-respect and respect others. I am putting things in place for them such as betterworld11 on Facebook so that they can have a positive impact on our world. However, what do you think happen when they have to go out into the world where most of society has been dehumanized? Can we not see how we’re desensitizing our society by constantly feeding them negative images and words? At least before with the violent movies, inappropriate videos of women being used solely for the amusement of men or vile music it was “make believe”. But now “Reality” is attached to this trash that’s being shown and no one is benefiting from it except the networks. Young impressionable men who watched that sad display with DMX will now think its okay to totally disrespect all women. Who regulate “Reality TV?” Someone is sleep at the wheel. They should not be allowed to exploit these damaged people. Also, instead of ‘Who Let the Dogs Out’ it should now be “Who Let the CATS Out?” The Networks have taken the baton from Girls Gone Wild Franchise and ran with it. Day after day we see women being shown in a very negative light on the shows. Entertainers are public servants in my opinion. They are paid by the public/fans. What other public servants do you know can say/do whatever they like for the masses to see/hear and not be held accountable? I saw where Bill Cosby was quoted saying ‘he’s happy he is on his way out’ it’s not that simple for me; I have a granddaughter on her way to live in this world. I want to let her know I tried to make it a little better for her.

Oprah is not bothered about getting sued she is about to gird herself with some of the best highest quality lawyers she can afford, we all know Oprah pockets are deep as fuc* so with that being said she aint pressed.

The sad part about this is DMX is being controlled and doesn’t even know it. He’s a middle aged drug addict who relies on managers, concert bookers, record companies to distribute his music and get him gigs. So of course, they like him high out of his mind so they can profit off of him and skim his money without him knowing it. Then keep him high on crack and tell him Iyanla is the bad person for trying to get him to see the error of his ways. God forbid he cleans up and gets clarity and see that he’s going to be broke in a few years. They have been doing this to music artists for years… did ppl learn nothing from Whitney Houston. There’s no reason Whitney Houston’s estate should not have looked like Liz Taylors… all Whitney had to show for all of her greatest is a McMansion in Atlanta..which anyone with a good job can have. But Clive Davis has ALL her royalties. DMX will die broke in a gutter if he keeps listening to his handlers and they will continue to buy beach houses and pay their kid’s private school tuition off his music royalties after he OD’s and dies…same with Lil Wayne and all those ignorant thugs who think it’s cool to be high and ratchet all the time.
