The man responsible for the deadly truck accident involving actor/comedian Tracy Morgan pleads not guilty. We all remember the tragic accident that took the life of Morgan’s friend, James McNair, back in June 2014 and left Morgan with serious injuries, when a Wal-Mart tractor trailer slammed into their limousine.

Well this past Monday 1/2/16 the truck driver, Kevin Roper pleaded not guilty to charges of first degree aggravated manslaughter, vehicular homicide and eight counts of aggravated assault. Reports say according to Ropers attorney, David Glassman, there will be a motion to dismiss the indictment and also that Roper’s constitutional rights to due process have been violated. Tracy Morgan sat down with “ET” in an interview and said “it just lets me know it’s going to take more than 18 wheels to take the gift that God gave me” as he talks about the aftermath of the accident. According to, you can catch Tracy Morgan on the big screen soon, as he joined the cast of up coming comedic film “Fist Fight” which also stars Ice Cube. We wish nothing but the best for Tracy Morgan as he returns to doing what he loves, making people laugh!
