Wale has a new label to call home. It had been rumored that the rapper would be joining Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group, and on Saturday night he put the speculation to rest by confirming the news on Twitter. Wale tweeted, quote, “The music won’t change…the energy will. Can’t wait till y’all hear the new music.” While he’ll be recording for Rick Ross, Wale will still be managed by Jay-Z’s Roc Nation.
Wale released his debut album, “Attention Deficit,” in 2009. The record peaked at number two on the Top Rap Albums chart.
