Today in Cincinnati a very unfortunate event occurred which showed the stupidity of humans and the privilege that we think we have as humans. Today at the Cincinnati Zoo a 4-year old boy, who was not attended by his mother, fell into the gorilla’s enclosure. The staff apparently was “forced” to shoot the animal because of the close proximity of the animal and the child, I suppose? I’m not sure but this was heart breaking.

The ideas of zoos in general are inconsiderate, selfish, and greedy of humans. We all know what type of humans are calling these shots as well when it comes to animal cruelty, but we will leave that subject alone for now. Furthermore, the gorilla was about 400lbs and had been a resident of the zoo for about 17 years up until today.

There was a video of the boy and the gorilla and honestly the gorilla was doing nothing to the boy. See what people fail to realize is that certain animals/mammals have feeling and parental instincts just like humans, because we are mammals as well. Killing the gorilla was NOT necessary and whoever said: “It was the right decision.”, is full of themselves and must identify with that entitlement that I spoke of earlier.

This is sad and it is really important that we educate ourselves on animals just like us, demolish all zoo’s because they are pointless and harmful to the animals, and lastly pay attention and take full responsibility for our own children.

It is that simple.

These are the kinds of things that make me say that I hate people, we need to get it together and quick.
