Watch : Brandy’s Episode of VH1 ‘Behind the Music’

Its crazy how it can seem like everything is going great in a superstars life, only its all a lie and after watching ‘Behind the Music’ “Brandy” last night – the world now see’s the superstar is no different from everyone else. Brandy Norwood appeared to be living the good life in the ’90s, finding both fame and success at a very young age.

But the truth was that this teen star was harboring a lot of very dark secrets.

Tonight was the premiere of Brandy’s episode of Behind the Music on VH1.

During the hour long show the singer talked about her rise to becoming America’s sweetheart, facing heartache after a failed relationship with Boyz II Men’s, Wanya Morris, being involved in an accident where someone lost their life, and moving on in freedom with her daughter and new boyfriend.
One of Brandy’s big secrets was she suffered from a bad eating disorder.

“I wanted to be so thin. That was my main thing,” the 33-year-old star revealed during VH1’s Behind the Music.

“So I started not taking care of myself — not eating properly, not eating at all, diet pills, regurgitating, and all of these things that girls do.”

Brandy also finally opened up about one of the most devastating incidents in her life, the tragic car accident. Brandy said:

“I would hear what people would say, and still to this day they know that that’s a button,” Brandy says.

“They know that they can call me a murderer or call me someone that killed someone.”

“They know that is a button for me. A murderer is someone who premeditates it.

I didn’t wake up that day to be involved in a fatal car crash. I didn’t plan for that. And if I could take it back, I would.”

In December 2006, the singer was involved in a fatal car accident in California resulting in the death of Awatif Aboudihaj. Billboard reports The Los Angeles city attorney’s office ultimately concluded that there was “insufficient evidence” to convict Brandy of misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter after a series of investigations and being hit witha $50 million lawsuit.

Brandy expands on dealing with the aftermath of the tragedy on “Behind the Music” I just wanted people to know that this wasn’t news.

It’s not something that should be talked about like it’s gossip. You don’t like me? Fine.

But don’t use this situation to try to hurt me, because the guilt of being involved is enough.

It’s something that I’ll never truly, truly get over. Ever,” she explains.

The homie MissJia reports that Brandy’s vocal skills are like none other. The raspy, low sounds that come from her body amaze her each and every damn time she heard her sing in her youth. You can Watch the full Show below…
