Chris Brown is enjoying a triumphant return to the Grammys. The pop superstar won the first Grammy Award of his career on Sunday when his hit record “F.A.M.E.” took home Best R&B Album.
Winning wasn’t the only thing Chris was doing at the Grammys on Sunday night. The singer also delivered two performances. He first took the stage to perform his singles “Beautiful People” and “Turn Up the Music.” Chris then returned to the stage in a tribute to dance and electronica music that also featured Lil Wayne, David Guetta, and the Foo Fighters.
Chris Brown was invited back to the Grammys Sunday night for the first time since he assaulted fellow pop star Rihanna following a pre-Grammy party in 2009. Neither artist wound up making it to the ceremony that year, and Chris quickly became vilified by many music fans.
He’s spent the last few years serving a five year probation sentence and trying to resurrect his image with fans.
