The National Enquirer claims that Whitney Houston’s recent weight gain is not the result of a pregnancy, but rather a combination of good old-fashioned junk food and the medication for her respiratory infection.
A headline-making May 27 photo of Whitney performing in Germany showed the singer has gained substantial weight.
The Enquirer quotes unnamed “experts†who believe some of the weight gain has been caused by steroid injections or prednisone treatments to treat her nagging respiratory infection.
“Insiders say Whitney’s been ‘pigging out’ on room service and fast food during her ‘Nothing But Love’ European tour,†the Enquirer stated.
“She’s ballooned to 175 pounds and there’s no sign of slowing down,†added a source.

Its clearly this some abnormal weight gain. Her arms and legs are not gaining that much weight.

She probably on Prednisone (for her respiratory infection) which causes bloating in the face, called Moon Face and also fluid retention in other parts of the body (especially the stomach and face).
