New details regarding the death of pop icon Whitney Houston are emerging following the release of the singer’s full autopsy report. According to the document, a “spoon with a white crystal-like substance on it” and a “white powdery substance” later determined to be cocaine were found in the Beverly Hills hotel room where Houston died on February 11th. The report states that Houston was found by her assistant face down in the bath tub, and says Whitney “possibly overdosed on a narcotic substance, prescription medications, over the counter medications and alcohol.” Her official cause of death is listed as accidental drowning, with heart disease and “chronic” cocaine use as contributing factors.
