Remember when The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’s Aunt Viv was all of a sudden…a different Aunt Viv?

Keep in mind Will says this just weeks after Janet Hubert, the first Aunt Viv, went at Jada Pinkett Smith regarding boycotting the Oscars with stingers like, “Miss Thing, does your man not have a mouth of his own with which to speak?”
Smith went on to compliment Hubert on her artistry:

I think she’s brilliant. I think as an artist there’s so many things that she does. She sings, she dances, she’s like a really powerful artist. I loved what she brought to the Fresh Prince.”
“Jaden is one hundred percent fearless,” Smith said. “He will do anything. As a parent it’s scary. But he is willing to live and die by his own artistic decisions. He just doesn’t concern himself with what people think.”
If Jaden was creatively stifled, then we wouldn’t have gems like this:
And where would the world be without philosophical greats like Jaden Smith and DJ Khaled?
