Young Jeezy had a run-in with the law prior to a performance in the Bahamas last weekend. According to the Bahamas’ “Tribune” newspaper, the rap star was arrested in Fox Hill last Saturday for an undisclosed infraction. Jeezy was said to have been in the wrong place at the wrong time before he was taken to a police station and eventually released. Local police officer Ashton Greenslade remarks, quote, “He was here with us a short while, he passed through the station briefly on Saturday.”
Young Jeezy is working on his fourth studio record, “Thug Motivation 103.” The album was supposed to be in stores this year, but is now eyeing a 2011 release. Up Date:(AllHipHop News is reporting) Young Jeezy’s manager has denied claims that the Atlanta rapper was arrested in the Bahamas last weekend. According to the rapper’s manager Demetrius “Kinky B” Ellerbee, the reports of Jeezy’s arrest in New Providence are false. “It’s not true,” Ellerbee told MTV News, dismissing a report by Bahama-based newspaper The Tribune, who claimed Jeezy was booked before a show in the tough, Fox Hills section of the island. According to reports, the rapper was simply “in the wrong place at the wrong time” when he was arrested and released, just before his performance at Club Luna, later that evening.
