Last year Mary J. Blige announced she’d be starring in a new bio-pic about legendary singer, jazz musician and classical pianist, Nina Simone.

Well, there seems to be some changes to the line-up as reported by Rhymes with Snitches. Sources are saying that Mary J. will be replaced by Zoe Saldana.

The film entitled ‘Nina’ is based on the singer’s 1992 autobiography ‘I Put a Spell on You’ and will focus on the relationship between Nina Simone and her assistant Paris-based manager, Clifton Henderson, who will be played by David Oyelowo.
