2 Chainz is doing his part to give back to the community.  According to Detroit’s Hot 107.5 radio, 2 Chainz  founded his own charitable organization called the TRU Foundation.  Through the organization the rapper is planning to hold events for the upcoming Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.  He explains that he wanted to “figure out some kind of way to give back” after being so “blessed” over the past two years.  This past week 2 Chainz helped bring in 4,000 cans of food for Detroit’s SOS Food Pantry and Food Gathers.  At Monday’s charity event in the Motor City, fans were able to meet the rapper if they donated two non-perishable food items.
