Fifty Cent is denying suggestions that his recent car accident was a stunt to help promote his highly-anticipated new album, which drops today. Fifty told MTV recently, “Trust me, I have enough money to not hit myself with a Mack Truck to try to get a few dollars.”
Fif also opened up about what happened and how he believes his bulletproof SUV saved his life. He says the driver of the truck “lost control” when his load shifted and slammed into the back of his truck. Fifty claims the accident caused more damage to the Mack Truck than it did to his own ride because he has what he described as “a level six” bulletproof vehicle. The rapper says it’s the same standard that’s applied to the vehicles that President Obama moves around in. Fifty was hospitalized briefly after the accident a week ago. He was treated for neck and back injuries before he was released.
The rapper’s new album, “Five (Murder by Numbers),” is his fifth studio effort and his first in three years. Fifty’s last album, “Before I Self Destruct” was released in 2009. Here is his new video : I Ain’t Gonna Lie (Official Music Video).
