Dr. Conrad Murray will apparently have plenty of support when he shows up to his court date next month. According to TMZ.com, “hundreds” of his supporters are planning to conduct a big demonstration outside of the courthouse. Sources close to Murray say the group will rent buses in Houston and Las Vegas — where Murray has his medical licenses — and drive to Los Angeles in time for the June 14th hearing. Murray’s backers were reportedly upset when a banner that read, quote, “We demand justice for Michael Jackson” flew over the courthouse during his last court appearance.
Conrad Murray has been charged with involuntary manslaughter for his alleged role in the death of pop icon Michael Jackson. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges. During the June 14th hearing, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor will determine when to hold a preliminary hearing in the case.
