The homies over at Think Zillla Consulting invited us to the 1st annual Retired NBA Players Association Charity Mixer an evening of basketball, charity, and fun.
Check out the details below.
President Dale Ellis, president of the Atlanta Chapter of Retired NBA hosted an amazing charity event. The event was sponsored by Exclusiv Vodka, Playboy Energy Drinks, Full Circle, The Game 92.9, Natural Style Fubu, Social Yuppies, Sweet Shots, and SMG.
The stylish event was held at Suite Lounge. The venue was packed with Atlanta’s tastemakers, socialites, ex-players, and young professionals mixing and mingling for a good cause.
The event was super posh, elegant, and charity driven. The proceeds from the silent auction and various activities to benefit Hosea Feed the Hungry and Easter Seal.
On hand at the event were plenty of sports memorabilia featured in the silent auction benefiting Hosea Feed the Hungry. Check out former WNBA player Rushia Brown posing with Mr. and Mrs. Omilami!
Players signed basketballs benefiting the Easter Seals on the red carpet. There were so many basket balls circulating the room. For a basketball fan it was truly an amazing event!
The room was abuzz as invited guests and retired players mingled and enjoyed passed hors d’oeuvres and complimentary cocktails over conversation. Elisabeth Omilami urged guests to give what they could saying,
“Takers eat well, but givers sleep well.”
Special invited guests included: Caldwell Jones, Reginald Johnson, Harold Keeling, Lavone Mercer, Jim Washington, Sedric Toney, Rushia Brown, Courtney Alexander, and Dale Ellis.
