The sophomore album from rap star B.o.B. might not be far off. The emcee tells MTV News he’s “about halfway through” his follow-up to last year’s “The Adventures of Bobby Ray.” B.o.B. explains that it’s not about reaching a certain number of tracks, but rather expressing all the thoughts he wants to include on the record. He goes on to say that while he hasn’t decided on a release date, fans can “definitely look forward to music this year.”

B.o.B.’s debut album, “The Adventures of Bobby Ray,” arrived in April of 2010. The record produced several hit singles, including “Nothin’ On You,” “Airplanes,” and “Magic.” To date, “The Adventures of Bobby Ray” has sold more than 500-thousand copies in the United States.
