One of the greatest boxing champs of our time, Joe “Smokin” Frazier has died from complications of liver cancer at the age of 67. Joe was best known for beating Muhammed Ali in the famous 1971 “Fight of the Century”. Please check inside for a look at the life of this boxing legend.
Frazier was no doubt one of the greatest to ever enter the sport of boxing although much of his legendary success was often overshadowed by his rival Muhammed Ali, he still made an extraordinary mark on boxing history.
Mr. Frazier’s family announced to the world this morning of his sudden passing yesterday and also said they would announce the details of his homecoming service soon.
Muhammed Ali has even come forward to say that he lost a dear friend and a great champ. Our condolences go out to the Frazier family and his rememberance will forever reign in the history of heavyweight boxing. R.I.P Joe “Smokin” Frazier.
