The new-look judging panel on “The X Factor” is excited about the upcoming season of the Fox show. Simon Cowell and the network officially introduced newcomers Britney Spears and Demi Lovato during Fox’s upfronts on Monday, with Cowell telling the crowd that “rumors are one thing, but delivery is something else.”

Britney said she’s excited about the whole experience, adding that she’s looking forward to doing something different and finding a “true star.”

Likewise, Lovato said she was “totally stoked” to be a part of “The X Factor” and to be in the company of her fellow judges.

L.A. Reid, the only returning mentor besides Cowell, said he considers himself “the luckiest guy in the planet” to be a member of what he calls the “Rolls Royce of television.”

Auditions for season two of “The X Factor” are already under way.

The show is scheduled to premiere this fall on Fox.
