Chamillionaire is revealing a few more details about the recent foreclosure of his Texas mansion. The emcee was recently a guest on Houston’s “Mad Hatta Morning Show,” where he explained that his mother’s cancer caused him to let the home go. He states, quote, “My mother has cancer and she was looking at my house and my lifestyle and was afraid to come to me about money for medical bills. And I’m like, don’t do that. Whatever bill you have come to me about it.” Chamillionaire says he quickly made the decision that no home was worth more than his family, adding, quote, “I gotta make sure I make good moves.”
Chamillionaire purchased the home in question for two-million dollars in 2006. Earlier this month, he stated that he let the house fall into foreclosure because he was losing money from it. Chamillionaire is currently working on his third studio album, “Venom.” The record was slated to drop on June 22nd, but has been pushed back to a yet to be determined date.
