Chris’ attorney, Mark Geragos, tells TMZ.com the singer left a Malibu treatment facility after only 16 days because he had to perform community service connected to his sentence for assaulting ex-girlfriend, singer Rihanna in 2009. Chris reportedly entered rehab to work on his anger issues after his alleged involvement in a fight in Washington D.C. last month. Brown was reportedly slated to spend up to three months at the facility. Geragos says Chris will continue receiving outpatient therapy.
Earlier this year, Brown was given one-thousand additional hours of community service for his attack on Rihanna. Chris had reportedly completed the one-thousand-440-hours of community labor he was originally sentenced to, but prosecutors raised concerns about whether those hours had actually been completed.
