Chris Brown’s felony assault charge has been reduced to a misdemeanor. Read more below…

Chris Brown has spent the last few days behind bars after a man accused him of punching him in the face after he tried to take a picture with the “Love More” singer. Prosecutors have reduced the felony assault charge to a misdemeanor yesterday and Chris was released from custody.

Allegedly Chris punched 20 year old Parker Isaac Adams in the face over the weekend as the man tried to take a picture with him, resulting in Adams’ fractured nose. In Adams’ report it states that Chris Brown told him, “I’m not down with that gay s—” and “I feel like boxing.” Brown’s exact words are not completely clear.

Brown has denied these accusations and states that he was on his tour bus when his body guard in fact got into the altercation. After the hearing Brown’s lawyer , Danny Onorato, stated, “We understand that his security acted to protect Mr. Brown and Mr. Brown’s property as he was authorized to do under District of Columbia law. We are confident that Mr. Brown will be exonerated of any wrongdoing.”

He’s due back in November to face the reduced charge. If convicted, Brown faces up to 180 days in jail and a $1,000 fine.

Chris received a mass of support from fans and friends including an appearance from Trey Songz at his arraignment yesterday as well as hopeful tweets from good friend Bow Wow.

Brown has turned his pretty boy image into that of a hard core bad boy over the last few years, beginning with his attack on Rihanna in 2009. Since then he’s been involved in several offenses including his breaking a window on Good Morning America, his snatching a young lady’s cellular phone, a fight with Drake’s entourage in a nightclub, and a fight with Frank Ocean’s entourage. It seems as if Brown is heading on a downward spiral because of his lack of control.

We sure do hope Chris learns to control that Temper.
