Confirmed: Chris Brown and Rihanna Will Perform At The 2012 Grammys

Chris Brown will be making his return to the Grammys this weekend. It was announced on Tuesday that the pop superstar will be taking part in a tribute performance celebrating dance and electronica music. Lil Wayne, David Guetta, the Foo Fighters, and Deadmau5 [[Dead Mouse]] will also be a part of the performance. All five acts join a list of
Grammy performers that already includes Adele, Katy Perry, Jason Aldean, Rihanna and Coldplay. The 54th Grammy Awards will air this Sunday at 8:00 p.m. Eastern on CBS.

Chris Brown’s last invitation to the Grammys came in 2009. He never wound up making it to the ceremony. Brown was accused of assaulting his now former girlfriend, singer Rihanna, the night before the show. Chris eventually pleaded guilty in the case, and is now serving a five-year sentence on probation.

Nicki Minaj revealed her Grammy plans and announcing that she will  perform a never-before-heard song called “Roman Holiday” at this weekend’s Grammy Awards.  The song will be made available for purchase immediately after the ceremony.  The Monday after the Grammys, Ryan Seacrest will be premiering Nicki’s other new single, “Starships,” on his radio show.  “Starships” will also be arriving at iTunes on Monday.
