Diamond says that her house did go into forclosure, but that it was a business decision!!! This past Sunday, DX reported that Lil’ Scrappy and former Crime Mob rapper Diamond’s homes had reportedly gone into foreclosure. Now, in an exclusive interview with XXLMag.com, Diamond says that one of her houses did in fact go into foreclosure, but that it was a business decision.
“It was a business decision, plain and simple,” she said. “I bought that house in ’02. It was a house I did live in at the time for about a year. But then I got into other rental properties and flipping my money and moved out of that house. The recession hit and the real estate market was not doing what it was supposed to do, so instead of selling it, I rented it out. Then the rental market slowed down, too. So I asked myself, ‘Should I keep this house when no one is buying it or renting it?’ If I can’t sell it, recoup my money or have anyone rent out the property, then why would I keep it? So I decided to let it go to foreclosure last year.” (XXLMag.com)

Ironically, Diamond – whose current single “Lotta Dough” was recently remixed by Young Dro, Dorrough, Slim Thug, Twista and Trina – says that not only does not live in the residence in question, but that it actually went into foreclosure long before the information broke that it had this past weekend.
“It’s kind of funny that this is coming out now because I let the house go to foreclosure a long time ago,” she explained. “I guess with the courts and it finally going on the market, all of this is just now coming out. I’ve upgraded my place of residence four times since that first house. I don’t want to say where I live now, but I want my fans to know that I own the house that I live in now.” (XXLMag.com)

She can’t tell be that a housing foreclosure was a business decision. With a house going in foreclosure, your credit score and everything is negatively affected. She is stupid if she think she can think she can get me to believe this bullsh!t.

Allowing a house to go into Foreclosure is NOT a business decision and if it was its a bad one. The credit score is greatly impacted which will hender purchasing new homes.
Let me clear this up for you.. If you have a house that you no longer want and can not sell you can either have the bank do a short sale which they have to agree to do or you can do a voluntary foreclosure.. In which you stop making the payments at least three payments have to be missed and then the foreclosure procedure will start.. If you do a short sale you have to continue the payments until the sale is done.
It is not good for her credit but if she has another home it really won’t matter.

If you no longer want to occupy the property and you cant find anyone to rent it (Which is hard to believe)
Then you can try and do a “Short Sale” meaning that you sell the property usually for just about whats owed on it or you can do a “Deed in Leiu” which is surrendering the property to the Lender. Either way is better than FORECLOSURE! And even if she did let it go and has another property now, dont think b/c you let it go into Foreclosure that you’re off the hook! Whatever the house sold for which is usually less than what you paid for it YOU still will be responsible for the remaining balance! So the lender can do shit like Garnish your wages, put a lien on your “New” property all types of shit so that they get they’re money back!
