So it is true…Drake really does know G4 pilots on a first name basis…and he has his name on the plane.  According to the YBF, Air Drizzy took its first flight yesterday.  Yep…Drake had a Virgin Airline plane named after him.  It was all in celebration of Sir Richard Branson launching his first Virgin flight between Toronto and Cali cities.  And of course, Toronto’s hometown hero Drake was the perfect person to help celebrate.

Rap star Drake and Virgin Group chair Sir Richard Branson arrived at Toronto’s Pearson International Airport on a special Virgin America flight from California. It’s $199 each way for those of you interested.  The airline recently introduced flights between Toronto and both L.A. and San Francisco. The two men were greeted on the tarmac by ceremonial Canadian Mounties.  Must smell like money on that plane….

By theway, Drake just announced he hit the studio with Chris Brown this week.  That music ought to be interesting. Just what Chris needs right now…
