Even Drake’s mother was fooled by his Twitter “marriage” to fellow hip-hop star Nicki Minaj last month. People.com reports that his mom thought he had eloped with Minaj. Drake says, quote, “My mom was actually like, ‘What happened? How did you elope?’ But we were just joking around. I never thought it would get so out of hand.” The two rappers both used their Twitter accounts to claim they were married to one another. But news quickly broke that they were just joking around. Drake adds that there are some people who still think he and Minaj really got married. He says, quote, “People still think it’s real. I’ll look at a girl and she’ll be like, ‘You’re a married man. You shouldn’t look at me that way.'”
