Clearly all this press is about to be a big problem for Erykah Badu who is now facing criminal charges, after Dallas cops received a formal complaint over her naked music video shoot. The video for “Window Seat” was shot guerrilla-style in Dealey Plaza, where President John F. Kennedy was assassinated.
Cops say a Texas woman lodged the complaint yesterday with police, after she and her mother saw Erykah shooting the video completely naked. Cops say the incident is officially under investigation and the singer could face several charges, including disorderly conduct. I dont think anyone would have cared if it would have been Madonna but we all know how that works .. What yall think?
I think they shud just leave her alone! If it were Lady GaGa, it wud be no problem!
The fact is, she got off easy. Public indecency is against the law period. if people choose to allow their kids to view nudity, violence etc, in their presence then that’s their business, but for her to be nude in public places where children are present is not okay! Why should Erykah be exempt from the consequences of breaking the law, when everyone else has to pay?
Nobody didn’t complain when Lady Gaga had her puss showing and ass hanging out. Blink 182 did the same thing and nobody said anything. It’s always going to end up being a race thing. It’s not like their kids haven’t seen ass before.
1st off Lady Gaga has no ass, secondly she was on a private video set, Erykah Badu was in public with CHILDREN present!!! While neither is excusable, what Erykah did was just utterly careless and disgusting, and hell no I don’t like Lady Gaga, but everybody has been using this same, lame argument though and it’s past redundant, and without basis.

@Dilla, nudity is a natural thing, those kids know what a naked body looks like, there where no sexual intentions invoved in the video, and the message is heavily needed especially for people like you who are “quick to assasinate that which you dont know” , for clarity listen to what she says in the end of the video then you can draw a fair conclusion
