Ford Motor Company was a major sponsor for Essence Music Festival 2014. The company showed off its philanthropic side by presenting Essence Communication with a hefty check to help them to continue to do good community work.

I am slowly recovering from the great time I had at the 20th Anniversary of the Essence Music Festival. The weekend event was absolutely amazing the shows, the conventions, the speakers, and activities were so impressive. What I admire the most is that they have activities for all demographics. There were single people like me there and then there were families in tow.

The reason why Essence Music Festival can do so much is because of their amazing sponsors like Ford. The good people over at Ford Motor Company gifted ESSENCE Communications with a check for $20,000 that will benefit a community organization of their choice.

The check was made in honor of the 20th support ESSENCE’S efforts to give back to families and women.

As the automotive-exclusive sponsor of the festival, Ford was also on-site at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center providing fun giveaways including the chance to win keys to the all-new 2015 Ford Mustang in addition to continuing its support of breast cancer awareness.
