Check out the details below.
Sevyn Streeter had an amazing birthday bash in the midst of Essence Festival’s 20th Anniverary. Her family was in attendance mother and father and three of her closest childhood friends, and several VIP guests includingTrey Songz, Tank, Angela Simmons, Raheem DeVaughn, Kenny Burns (Revolt), Rob Hill Sr. (“The Heart Healer”) among others. One of the night’s most memorable moments came when Tank serenated Sevyn–a long-standing dream come true for her—with a sweet rendition of “Happy Birthday.”
The event was a preamble to Sevyn’s explosive set at the Essence Music Festival the following day where she performed for the first time at Essence Music Fest to a packed audience in the Ford Superlounge.
Sevyn’s entire Essence Festival experience is being chronicled in a four-part online documentary series called“Road to Essence” sponsored by Ford. You can watch the first part of the series here:http://bit.ly/sevynfest and the additional parts will be released in the coming weeks.
