Last night the celebration of the entrepreneur was taken one step further with The Entrepreneur Behind the Icon, an event in Hollywood to honor some of the best celebrity business people, including Frankel.

The Kardashians received the Next Gen Entrepreneur Award. The family has taken a massive amount of press attention and turned it into a thriving business that The Hollywood Reporter estimates brought in $65 million last year. With reality shows, fragrances and fashion lines, the Kardashians embody the new celebrity entrepreneur.

As more Hollywood celebrities are building businesses and brand empires, Forbes looks to the next generation of Hollywood by honoring the Kardashians with the Next Gen Entrepreneur award. In addition to starring in their own reality show, co-owning boutiques and launching fragrance lines, the Kardashian sisters – Kourtney, Kim and Khloe – have built a business off of their successful branding and enterprising spirit.
