Dustin Diamond, star of the 1990s teen sitcom “Saved By The Bell” was arrested Christmas night following an altercation that involved him, another male patron of the Grand Avenue Saloon, and a switchblade.

Dustin Diamond, also known as “Screech” from the 1990s hit teen sitcom “Saved By The Bell,” was arrested near the Grand Avenue Saloon, a bar in Port Washington, Wisconsin. Diamond reportedly got into a fight where he accidentally stabbed one of the male bar patrons as he attempted to defend his 27-year-old fiancee, Amanda Schutz. According to the BBC, Schutz is facing a charge of disorderly conduct.

Diamond was charged with disorderly conduct, carrying a concealed weapon, and a charge of felony second-degree recklessly endangering safety. The fight reportedly included another woman and two men and the BBC says that “officers found a switchblade knife in the car – the point of it appeared to be covered in blood.” Reports say that the stabbing victim’s injuries were not life threatening.

On Friday, Diamond appeared in the Ozaukee County court where a judge set his bail at $10,000 which has yet to be posted. Diamond’s next hearing will take place on December 29.
