The homie Gucci Mane is going to be spending some hard time in jail over his federal gun possession case.

Rapper Gucci Mane will likely spend the next few years behind bars over his federal gun possession case.  According to the “Atlanta Journal Constitution,” Gucci Mane — whose real name is Radric Davis — struck a plea deal with federal prosecutors on Tuesday and pled guilty to the charge of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.  In exchange, prosecutors recommended that he receive a prison sentence of three years and three months.  He faced a maximum sentence of ten-years behind bars if he had been convicted.  Gucci will be officially sentenced in July.

Gucci Mane was slapped with the gun possession charge following a pair of incidents in Atlanta last year where he was accused of brandishing a handgun.
