I have to say I am kinda shocked to hear this … Word is hip-hop vet, and one of the first DJ’s I every worked for DJ Clue is facing drug possession charges in New York City following his arrest Wednesday morning. According to NBC4 in New York, the 38-year-old deejay was pulled over for a routine traffic violation when cops discovered he was driving on a suspended license.
A follow up search of his vehicle reportedly uncovered three pills wrapped in tin foil. The TV station says Clue was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle. DJ Clue is one of hip-hop’s biggest go-to talents. Jay-Z, DMX and the Notorious B.I.G. are just some of the stars he has worked with over the years.
