Rap icon, and “Law & Order: SVU” star Ice-T is tweeting about his run-in with police on Tuesday. The emcee was pulled over in New York City for driving without a seatbelt and then arrested for allegedly driving on a suspended license. Ice-T was released later in the day. He took to his Twitter account to vent his frustration over the incident. In a pair of tweets that included some R-rated language, Ice-T claims he was stopped by a “rookie cop” who had just made the arrest of his career. The rapper says the officer told him he wasn’t impressed with his celebrity status, adding that allegations that he was driving on a suspended license are a “lie.” Ice-T went on to post the officer’s last name and badge number on his Twitter account.
The rapper’s voice can be heard in the upcoming video game “Gears of War Three.” The game is due in stores in April.
