Friday marked 30 years for the 80’s movie of a generation “The Breakfast Club”. If you’ve seen it it’s high school angst at its finest. And this generations “Breakfast Club,” though a little different, continues to pull in the “get” interviews.
Singer-shoemaker Keyshia Cole drops by the block to talk with Charlamagne Tha God, DJ Envy and Angela Yee to talk shoes, Beyonce, and DC’s Michelle Williams.
Cole strapped on her seat belt and entered “The Breakfast Club” to promote her new music, talk Beyonce & Michelle Williams and more.
The oftentimes stand-offish singer, was quite candid on an array of topics. Naturally promoting her song, “Rick James” and her new collaborative efforts with world renown Steve Madden.
But Cole also takes time to address the antiquated diss she handed down to Destiny’s Child member Michelle Williams.
“I was at the Soul Train Awards and she was like, ‘Oh, I ain’t even know you could use auto tune at the Soul Train Awards,” Cole told New York City radio show “The Breakfast Club.” “What’s that about?'”
“It really hurt my feelings too cause she is Christian, and she’s a church girl and all of this, but yet, we talk on the phone, you say you apologize for taking a tweet down that you said about me in the first place,” Cole said on the radio show.
If you notice Charla apologized to Keyshia for calling her a bitch. That’s a rarity. I can’t say that I’d be excited for a new reality show minus the crazy of her family. But I doubt I’m her target audience.
