The father of the late Michael Jackson is seeking a large payout from the man accused in the death of his son. New documents in Joe Jackson’s wrongful death lawsuit which state that he is seeking between ten and 500-million-dollars from Dr. Conrad Murray. The lawsuit says the Jackson family patriarch is seeking “the realistic range of provable damages.” It goes on to claim that 20-percent of Joe Jackson’s damages are for loss of support, 40-percent are for emotional distress, and 40-percent are for “loss of comfort, aid, society and companionship.” Dr. Murray has claimed that he is unable to settle because his insurance company is refusing to cover him. Murray has also stated that he won’t be giving a deposition to Jackson’s lawyer until after his criminal case is finished.
Michael Jackson died on June 25th, 2009 from cardiac arrest. He was eventually found to have lethal levels of the drug propofol in his system. Murray — who was Jackson’s doctor when he passed — admitted to giving the King of Pop the drug. He is now facing an involuntary manslaughter charge.

Michael’s father along with many of the family are opportunist. So sad t see that in a case of tragic loss, that MJ’s death would be about a learning phase and less about how much money the can get in a suit over conrad murray. Its not as if the man has that much money anyways. What is Joe’s real focus here of the trial anyways
