A federal judge has ordered the military to stop enforcing the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy. Judge Virginia Phillips told the military to suspend or discontinue all proceedings related to the policy banning open homosexuals from serving in the armed forces. The decision is due to a case brought against “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” brought by the gay rights group Log Cabin Republicans. Phillips ruled the policy violated both the First and Fifth Amendments. The Department of Justice could appeal the decision to the Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.

WOW what do yall think?

  1. Ignorant people annoy me…it wasn’t that long ago that blacks weren’t allowed to marry or serve in the military, or allowed any of the basic human rights garunteed by the constitution. Now, you can’t stop a black person from supporting the same types of discriminating practices imposed on another group just because you disagree with their choices. Ignorance and hate is running rampant in our community and its being fed by the church. SMDH
