I had the opportunity to sit through two cases and watch Judge Lauren Lake’s Paternity Court as they prepared for season 2.

A congrats is in order for Judge Lauren Lake as she gears up for season 2 of Paternity Court. So many people are living in the dark when it comes to secrets of legitimacy. Is that baby mine? Is that boy down the street my brother? So many people just need to know the truth and that’s where Judge Lauren Lake comes to the rescue.

The show was very successful in it’s first season as Judge Lake used her quick wit, charm, and gentle spirit to help people resolve horrific issues. She uses warmth and kindness to help families piece their lives back together. As I sat in court and wondered to myself how; she swiftly created resolutions.


Judge Lauren Lake is a multi-faceted television personality, as well as a legal and relationship expert. She graduated from the University of Michigan and earned her law degree at Wayne State University. She is a member of the New York, New Jersey and Michigan bars. Lake regularly contributes her no-nonsense, tell-it-like-it-is advice and analysis to some of today’s most popular television programs, including “The View,” “Good Morning America,” “Today,” “CBS This Morning,” “Dr. Phil” and “Nancy Grace;” been featured in articles in various publications, such as The New York Times, Entertainment Weekly, and Time Magazine; and has served as moderator and contributor on panels dedicated to women, relationships, empowerment, and family. Originally from Detroit, Michigan, this young lady is a dedicated wife and mother who is committed to encouraging and inspiring ordinary people to live extraordinary lives.

Judge Lake says her job makes her happy because she’s able to help families resolve their issues and get the life they deserve!
