Rap superstar Kanye West is just the latest music fan to catch a case of “Bieber Fever”. (August 15) The emcee wrote on his Twitter feed Sunday morning that he was listening to a record from 16-year-old pop sensation Justin Bieber at home. Bieber tweeted back to him, quote, “I’m kinda hyped u are listening to my stuff. Thank u. Nice sunday morning.” West raved about the Canadian singer’s track, “Runaway Love,” and even pondered whether or not it would crash his iTunes if he played it too many times in a row. The emcee writes, quote, “I just tried to sing the first notes of Runaway Love and when my voice cracked, had to remember I don’t sing that good GODBLESSAUTOTUNE.” Bieber also informed West that he plays an acoustic version of his song “Heatless” every night in his set.
The mutual admiration didn’t end without the promise that West and Bieber may be collaborating sometime in the future. The rapper proposed that he and the singer could maybe “do something together” along with hip-hop artist Raekwon of the Wu-Tang clan.
