Hip-hop diva Kelis is claiming that her estranged husband Nas is in contempt of court. The “Bossy” singer is alleging that the rapper hasn’t made child support payments since December 1st. Kelis’ attorney, Laura Wasser, has filed papers in court stating that Nas did not pay nearly 60-thousand-dollars in spousal and child support. Last July, Nas was ordered to pay 55-thousand-dollars to cover the living expenses for Kelis and the couple’s newborn son, Knight Jones. Nas was also required to pay for his former flame’s prenatal expenses and medical bills, as well as paying 35-thousand-dollars to Laura Wasser.

A child doesn’t cost that much to care for a month., that money is supporting Kelis & her chinchilla get up and the rest of her closet probably filled with more and shoes galore, Louboutins in every color., smdh, its ok to have nice things, Im just saying, when These women get kids with these celebrities and artists they take it as a joke and then want to sue for all this child support knowing damn well they were not accustomed to this lifestyle before he impregnated you or wifed you, especially if it was just a groupie or average chick, but Kelis was an artist in her own right before she got with Nas and had a son and married him, but her well has probably run dry since then and he acct is low so hey to each its own, but having a baby with celebs, artist, athletes is like a business transaction, like 50 said have a baby by me be a millionaire and his other song says the check will be written even before the baby comes, where are the morals and dignity people, just getting pregnant or trying to become pregnant using turkey basters, smh..just to get paid and not have to work no more and collect child support. Then they don’t care if the person is married already just a one night stand thing and try to get prgnant and pin the baby on them, I blame both parties, for the man cheating, for the homewrecker to knowingly sleep with a married man and then say they pregnant, get a lawyer, Gloria, get paid. Do you think that the child actually receives half of that money. They should make the money go into a trust fund and the child will have access to it at 18 and just make man pay half of mortgage, school fees if in private school, mediical, etc. Because dont ish be wrong with the women, they need to work or if they feel they cant work in a regular job setting, use some of that money to start a business, instead of going shopping, have your own ish, get yo ish together, be smart!

Kelis stop it. She is asking for entirely too much money and she knows it. Doesn’t she have an album coming out. I thought I read somewhere where she sign on with a new record label. Even if that’s not true she’s needs to stop. It doesn’t take $50,000 a month to take care of yourself and your baby and technically he shouldn’t have to take care of you because your very capable of taking care of yourself. It’s truly a shame when women do stuff like this to men and the law always favors the mother. Something has to change within the law. It’s not fair at all.
